SANITIZING
Sanitizing refers to cleaning or disinfect any area, product, machinery or any other structure which is supposed to have disease microorganisms that cannot be cleaned merely by soap or water. Thus sanitization helps to prevent the transfer of such microorganisms to the ultimate consumer.
SANITIZER MACHINERY
Appliances used for reparation of sanitizer are considered as sanitizer machinery.
It is divided as under:
- 50 – 80 litre production
- 80 litre and above production
Use of sanitizer machinery is based on these measurements. As the quantity of production of sanitizer increases so as the requirement of equipment and size of the containers changes.

COMPONENTS OF SANITIZING MACHINERY
For 50 - 80 litre Production:
- 10-litre glass or plastic bottles with screw-threaded stoppers
- 50-litre plastic tanks (preferably translucent so as to see the liquid level)
- Stainless steel tanks with a capacity of 80–100 litres (for mixing without overflowing) ,
- Wooden, plastic or metal paddles for mixing the solution
- Measuring cylinders and measuring jugs for accurate measurements ,
- Plastic or metal funnel for transfer of compounds
- 100 ml plastic bottles with leak-proof tops (final container for storage)
- 500 ml glass or plastic bottles with screw tops (final container for storage)
- An alcoholmeter: It is basically a hydrometer which indicates alcoholic strength of liquids, in this the temperature scale is at the bottom and the ethanol concentration at the top
- For 80 litre and above Production:
